FAQ

  • GENERAL INQUIRIES
    • Where are your suits made?

Our suits are proudly made in America, from start to finish.

    • What is the difference between a Basic suit and a Bespoke suit?

A basic suit will not be made to measure. We use standard sizing for basic suits, but you can still customize parts of the suit. A bespoke suit is cut for only you, according to your personal body measurements. This suit costs more because it of the significant extra labor involved.

    • What makes your suits different than other brands?

Zuit is different than other brands because we have adopted the best tailoring practices often overlooked by mass retailers. This means our suits are half-canvassed, sewn in instead of glued by hand. We work with a small but experienced tailor’s shop which means we take care of every piece and enjoy getting to know our customers. We use high end Italian wools and stretchy linings so the suit can keep up with a woman’s curves.

  • RENTALS

A pre-paid return shipping label is included with every order. Place everything into the original shipping box, place the return shipping label over the old shipping label. Deliver the box to any authorized FedEx drop-off location or schedule a FedEx pick-up.

For rentals and basics, please use our sizing chart before checkout. For a bespoke suit, your suit will be made to your exact body measurements. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions about size.

    • What if the suit I receive does not fit?

Please have the suit altered with your local tailor or alterations shop for minor fit changes. If the suit has major fit issues please send us an email with a photo of you in the suit to [email protected] and we will determine if we can alter the suit or if a remake is necessary.

    • What is the best way to clean my suit and remove wrinkles?

The best way to keep your suit clean is to use a garment brush on the cloth. To remove wrinkles use a steamer and not an iron.

    • What about dry cleaning?

Only take your suit to the dry cleaners 1-2x or year or to care for a major stain. In the meantime, brushing should remove dirt and minor stains. Dry cleaning exposes the suit to chemicals which can cause fading, so when you do need to take it in be sure to dry clean the whole suit with jacket and pants together.

    • What kind of hanger should I use for my suit?

We recommend a wide cedar wood hanger. A wooden hanger is best because absorbs moisture and repels moths. Do not use a wire hanger as it could damage the shape of the suit.
